Step 1: Sand
Choose from three grades of 3M™ Trizact™ Finesse-it™ Film discs featuring our patented microreplication technology and pair with a 3M™ Mini orbital sander to remove and level the defect.

All the benefits operators have come to expect from Trizact(TM) Finesse-it(TM) products: consistent cutting action balanced by uniform finishing. These discs help remove surface imperfections from automotive paint without changing the surface topography, and the microreplication design provides longer life and precision uniformity for ease of buffing.

The 3M™ Elite Series Mini Orbital Sander packs the performance of our air-powered orbital hand sanders into a small tool that’s ideal for sanding small defects in painted surfaces.
Step 2: Polish
Apply a small drop of 3M™ Finesse-it™ polish to the sanded area and spread evenly using one of our specially designed 3M™ Finesse-it™ Buffing Pads. Polish using our line of Buffing tools and wipe clean.

Part of a line of specially designed compounds and polishes to be used on OEM and baked refinish paints to remove sand scratches or to remove swirl marks from previously compounded areas and is designed to produce best results when used with an air or electric buffer equipped with 3M™ Finesse-it™ buffing pads.

3M™ Buffers PNs 28333 and 28769 are designed for use in automotive manufacturing (AOEM) paint shop applications for buffing or polishing medium-size defects on clear coat, powder coat, acrylic, solid surface, and polyurethane.
